Scene versions

As web software, the content you create and edit on TilBuci may already be viewed by your website visitors at the same time. This brings dynamism to your creations, but a problem arises: how to prevent people from seeing unfinished content? The answer: scene versions!

Let’s start by opening your first movie and creating a new scene.

Add a red circle to your scene and publish your creation by going to Scene > Publish.

Now, go to Scene > Open in player in the left menu. Your scene will open in a new tab.

Notice that it opens as expected. Now go back to the editor.

Add a new shape to your scene and save (do not publish).

Go back to Scene > Open in player. See that the version with just the red circle is still displayed.

This happens because in TilBuci you can continue working on a scene without making it visible to the public during the process.

When you’re satisfied with your work, simply publish the scene and it’s available to everyone.

You can even monitor the progress of your work by accessing Scene > Versions.

In this window, in addition to checking the old saved and published versions, you can open and resume work from any of them.

Whenever you open a scene in the editor, the latest version is loaded. Use the versions window to access previous ones, including the published version.
